Scott Blackman
For over three decades as an Oregon Coastal photographer, Scott has emphasized the importance of respecting our environment. His creativeness is expressed by producing images which serve to remind us of the beauty and importance of our natural surroundings. His work has been featured in Oregon Coast Magazine, the Audubon Society Calendar, Travel Northwest, SEA Port Magazine, McGraw Hill textbooks and many others publications over the years.
Recently he has had long term exhibits at the Oregon Coast Aquarium and the UO Law School in Eugene. Scott's rural, urban images of the Pacific Northwest and the deserts of Utah are sold as prints, posters, cards, ceramic tiles, mouse pads. His electronic images are perfect for print media and websites. Together, Scott and Sandy produce slide shows and book projects.
Sandy Blackman
Sandy has been a Mix Media artist for over 20 years and is currently focusing on her Wearable Art Line of felted purses. She has intermixed wool knitting, recycle wool clothing and Native American blankets to make one-of-a-kind bags. With her love of polymer clay, Sandy embellishes her bags with clay beads, buttons or toggles. Her love of bright colors and unusual combinations adds a whimsical touch to each bag, which can be found at selected art shows and Nostalgia Estates. As a retired teacher, Sandy has incorporated her love of art and teaching, giving workshops in polymer clay.
